The complete family of WD-40

Norman Larsen, president and head chemist at the Rocket Chemical Company, developed a water displacement formula to prevent corrosion. His persistence paid off when he succeeded in formulating the formula on his fortieth try, naming it WD-40. WD-40 literally stands for water displacement 40th attempt. That’s the name straight out of the lab book used by the chemist who helped develop WD-40 back in 1953.

Crayola Crayons

Crayola brand crayons were the first kids crayons ever made, invented by cousins, Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith. The brand’s first box of eight Crayola crayons made its debut in 1903. The crayons were sold for a nickel and the colors were black, brown, blue, red, purple, orange, yellow, and green. The word Crayola was created by Alice Stead Binney (wife of Edwin Binney) who took the French words for chalk (craie) and oily (oleaginous) and combined them.

Today’s lesson is about manner

I was browsing the web when I stumbled upon this picture, it’s agonizing, sad, embarrassing and upsetting me. I wonder if her parents teaches her to distinguish right from wrong. Does she know the meaning of this impolite gesture? Does she realize how other people would react to this? I’m sad and embarrassed for having to see this. How could a girl, so little may show such a bad attitude towards an old woman? Will somebody please explain this?
